Melissa Barth, Kitchen Manager and Pastry Chef
Melissa spent her early years in small towns in New Jersey and New York, and her teenage years in Metro Detroit. She moved back to her small town in upstate New York to graduate and later attend the Culinary Institute of America, in Hyde Park, NY.
While a student at the CIA, Melissa spent time at Caneel Bay in the Virgin Islands, as well as The Atlantic Inn on Block Island off the coast of Providence, RI for her externship.
After graduation, Melissa returned to Metro Detroit starting as a Pastry Cook and working her way to Pastry Chef at The Cupcake Station in Birmingham before leaving Michigan and venturing out west to Phoenix.
Shortly after relocating, she found home at Posh: Improvisational Cuisine under the influence of Chef Joshua Hebert for the next 4 years. When the opportunity arose to become a part of the Pink Pony reopening, Melissa jumped on the chance to help bring back a piece of Old Town history back to life.
